I’ve finally found what I’ve been looking for in the blog application world! After trying Movable Type for a while and Blogger, a work colleague of mine, Brian, pointed me towards Wordpress.

What a fantastic application it is. Clean UI and easy to install. I’m running it on a Windows server running mySQL and PHP. I got it up and running in 10 minutes from the time I downloaded the ZIP file.

Something that I love is the plugs-ins you can, well, plug-in. I wanted to publish via email and there’s a plug-in for that. It pings an email POP account that you create and publishes what’s there. Perfect.

There are some great designs, or themes, out there too. I’ve already started to brand mine. It’s all too easy.
