I read with interest today that from May, Yahoo will offer unlimited email storage to its 250 million users worldwide. Microsoft and Google currently offer 2 to 3 gigabytes.
Yahoo’s plans will take a few months to implement. AOL currently offer unlimited storage but Yahoo’s customer base is five times larger than AOL.
What I find amazing is that 10 years ago, the total of Yahoo’s storage for all their users was around 200 gigabytes. Now, in 2007, within 10 minutes Yahoo’s incoming mail to all users tops 200 gigabytes.
