Well, I’m now the proud owner of an Apple iPhone after a trek up and down Silicon Valley. In the end, after most of the AT&T stores ran out after selling about 30 each, I headed to Apple in Valley Fair Mall. It was great there with a real party buzz about it. Even Steve Jobs made an appearance! The queue had subsided by 9pm and when I looked sadly at the assistant and asked “I guess you don’t have anymore for sale?”, he looked at me strangely and said “of course!”
In and out. Now for something to eat, look at my cool box and a bit of activation action later. By the way, AT&T customers got a white plastic bag and a white box – Apple offered something a bit cooler!
