It's new technology to them too. The modem needed a couple of reboots as it had to upgrade its firmware. After around four reboots I was up and running. Sign into your modem and take a look what it's doing using http://192.168.100.1 I think. Also, if you use Twitter, Comcast have a great customer service account at @comcastcares.
